Techniques Needed
Magic Circle: Great tutorial here
Single Crochet: Insert hook through top and bottom posts, yarn over, draw up a loop, yarn over, draw up a loop through both loops on hook.
Double Crochet: Yarn over, insert hook through top and bottom posts, yarn over, draw up a loop. Yarn over, pull through first two loops on hook. Yarn over, draw through last two loops on hook.
Treble Crochet: Yarn over twice, insert hook through top and bottom posts, yarn over, draw through. Yarn over, pull through first two loops on hook. Yarn over, pull through first two loops on hook. Yarn over, pull through final two loops on hook.
Slip stitch: Insert hook through top and bottom posts, yarn over, pull through all loops.

Overhand knot: Form a loop and pass the end through it, tighten.

3 CH 1, *SC in first stitch, 2 SC in second stitch* repeat around, SLST to join.
4 CH 1, *SC in first two SC, 2 SC in third stitch* repeat around, SLST to join.
5 CH 1, *SC in first three SC, 2 SC in fourth SC* repeat around, SLST to join.
6 CH 2, *DC in first four SC, 2 DC in fifth SC* repeat around, SLST to join.
7-9 CH 2, DC around, SLST to join.
